When and How Did It Start?

Two years ago, we created the "In the Footsteps of Our Greats" Facebook page. We began posting videos about our great artists and old Armenian films. The page quickly gained popularity, and we realized that people truly enjoyed watching videos about the history of our art.

Inspired by this, we started filming new content—showing the filming locations of old Armenian movies. These videos received even more attention and were viewed widely.

Today, our page is one of the leading art platforms in Armenia and the Diaspora. Encouraged by all this, we decided to create our own studio and produce a TV program under the title "Our Greats."

What Problem Do We See?

Very few materials are being produced about our old Armenian films and our great cultural figures. Through our research, we realized that old Armenian films are gradually being forgotten, and most of the younger generation is not even aware of their existence.

What Are We Going to Do?

We will set up a studio.

We will acquire high-quality filming equipment.

All of this will allow us to produce programs about our great cultural figures. We will host renowned artists. Through the program, we will make many forgotten stories and materials accessible to our audience.

About Us

The “In the Footsteps of Our Greats” Facebook page is dedicated to sharing content about our great cultural figures and old Armenian films. In addition, we collaborate with several museums, where we also film content—encouraging our viewers to visit these museums. We also organize free tours to museums ourselves.

What Is the Project’s Budget?

By purchasing filming equipment once, we will have the opportunity to bring any program to life. We also plan to replace our short reports—where we reveal the filming locations of old Armenian movies, previously shot on a phone—with more professionally filmed content using high-quality equipment.
